Well, this has certainly been a fun little experiment, hasn't it now?

How easy it is for a human's violent, barbaric instincts to surface even when they are given the choice of peace.

How very typical of your race.

I have to ask you all a question, though.

Those that fought, when we so clearly gave you a way out... why DID you, hm? You cannot be foolish enough to think you would win. If you made it through us, there would be Parrotmon. Then Ravemon. All of which, I believe I pointed out, but by that point you would all be criminals, anyway, and not stand a chance against him. I figure it bears repeating. Over. And over again. And any heroic nonsense about making a point or taking a stand, or any thing such as that? Is nothing more than that. Nonsense.

You live beneath someone who I can be pretty well certain, at this point, you do not trust.

You cannot surely expect to close yourself off right beneath the nose of Tetha's Military Police, not when they're starting to crack down as they are. Thinking you are safe from anyone interfering with you... you will not be safe from that, dear Tamers.

Not so long as you keep huddled up in one teeny, tiny portion of this world, thinking you can stave off all evils from your self designed fortress. That is on the grounds of a place where you have no legal recourse, no power, and no real authority to fight back.

There are Tamers in this world that actually have a fortress. And even they have seen its heart ripped out and their walls torn asunder.

You are no different.

And in fact, in an even worse position than you really realize.

Or else you wouldn't have made such a lovely, glaring target of yourselves.

There are so many other concerns in this world. There are wars brewing. Wars happening right now. Enemies gaining power.

And yet.

You expend so much energy... fighting when you do not have to fight, and when fighting is in fact nothing but a detriment to your "cause" and how you appear to the world.

You are entertaining, at least.

But for now, little more.

This situation you are in, should you even chose to return to it... you are not up against some average super villain or crackpot mad scientist with delusions of world domination. You would do well to stop treating it as such.

And if you think you know what I'm trying to do, you are already quite wrong.

Because it is, since I know you are unlikely to take my advice and more likely to try and futiley throw it back at me, very much...

A secret.

[locked to the Syndicate and DATS. Yes, both]

So with a very large portion of the Tamers in Tetha scattered to the four winds, I wonder...

I am sure you are all aware that Tetha will be a crossroads to the next age of this Digital World.

The only question is...

Which one of you has the ability to capitalize first, hmm?

Hello, you insufferable people of Tetha, you!

Not insufferably happy, as, well, some saw fit to call me on that, last time.

So, just insufferable for now.

Doing well?

Yes?

No?

A secret?

Doesn't much matter.

I just figured I would grant you all one last bit of hospitality.

[ATTACHED, to resident Tetha Tamers - Two slices of chocolate cake. One for the Tamer, and one for the Digimon.]

Please, please, do enjoy. You can thank me later.

Just concern yourself with your own squabbles, and let us take care of what's necessary.

MR. BOWSER!

Are we doing well?

SPLENDID!

I was wondering if I could, perhaps, have a word with you.

I may have something of a proposition in mind!

Attention, insufferably happy people of Tetha!

The Tetha Military Police would like to announce that over the past couple months, crime rates have dropped by a whopping 70%!

In unrelated news, Tetha's local Primary Village is suffering from overcrowding.

That is all~!

I do this only in the hopes that it gets it out of the way and somebody comes up with something GOOD.
Guess. )

You know, I was just pondering today, and I had to wonder.

Who here in this world has never killed another?

And do you equate Digimon life the same as you do humans or your own, I do wonder.

[ooc - Strikes unreadable.]

So, as the first act of Tetha's newly appointed Military Police, besides, you know... fighting amongst everyone else in attempts to repel invading forces, of which everyone did such a valiant job...

On their behalf, I have announcement.

...

You are all getting fudge.

[ATTACHED TO ALL TETHA TAMERS: A small basket of fudge. Real fudge. No tricks, and it's actually quite tasty.]

Everyone likes chocolate, right?

Of course you do!

Have a wonderful weekend~

Oh, Mr. Suguru, Mr. Rentarou, etc. etc.

Please have a look at Tetha.

Thank me later.

Ciao~

Ahh, Friday the 13th, is it? I've heard some wonderful things about this day regarding a number of cultures that now populate this world...

...and seems about fitting for myself, as I am back to normal.

So, it goes without saying.

Mr. Suguru? You can, without question, burn in hell. Nothing personal, you'll have to understand.

But, I digress.

I pose to the lot of you, though, a tiny question.

What would you pay for a secret?

If your answer is money or riches, for the record? You can feel free to just ignore this.

Give me that!

[snatching of D-Comm, with a complaining Candmon in the background]

Much as it pains me to do so, I must... test something.

Miss Amelia. Or, any such justice-loving soul will do, to be completely honest. But, you're the first one that comes to mind.

Humor me, if you could.

What... is life?

LEGS. LIKE, WITHOUT EVOLVING.

HELL YEAH.

Xellos is in a really freakin' bad mood, though.

I mean, not, like. "Creepy, evil, sneaky son of a bitch" bad. Just PISSY.

Weird.

Ugh. Human holidays. Cheer. Good will. Festivities. Though, I'll admit Miss Filia's gift is surprisingly thoughtful! ...and just a bit disturbing for that fact.

Thank goodness I found someplace gloomy enough to offset it.

With that in mind, though! This was a long, long year for many of us. Much happened, and many things were done for better or worse. Such as Miss Filia, in my case! Friends and enemies made, love gained and lost. Watching you all has been very entertaining interesting, to say the least.

So, now really is a good time to reflect, I think. Whilst I plan my next move. What your best, and worst moments of the past year may have been... how you may want to improve or better yourselves in the year to come...

Keep up the good work~

I'm watching you all with great curiosity.

[locked to MMX!Zero]

Mr. Zero, if I might have your ear for just a moment~

My thanks to Miss Shiori for speaking so openly.

This DOES make things so much more interesting again.

Especially now that I'm back up on my feet again.

Would've been so quicker, but... I think Miss Filia re-aggravated some of my injuries a couple weeks ago.

Ah well~

If HE is indeed lurking around out there... it shall be most curious to see where this goes~

...I HAVE SEEN THINGS THAT CANNOT BE UNSEEN.

FOREVER SHALL THEY BE BURNED INTO MY MIND.

I knew being Xellos' partner meant torture, but THIS IS TOO MUCH. ;_;

From everything I've learned about them, RYUUZOKU AND MAZOKU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO DO THAT.

Much less in front of their Digimon.

OH. Now THIS is fun.

I needed some entertainment whilst tending to my wounds.

This will do nicely.

WIZARDMON.

THE ONE WITH A "D."

YOU KNOW WHO I'M TALKING TO.

I WAS NEARLY MURDERED BY LINA INVERSE BECAUSE OF YOU.

WHAT THE HELL, MAN?

WHAT.

THE.

HELL.

[ooc - This is, of course, a day or so after the currently running Slayers thread is finished, but as it only covers one particular event of it that's already passed, I figured I could go ahead and do this. XD;;; ]

So, apparently I'm apart of some great big extended family and don't even get invited over for so much as dinner?

Oh, to be the black sheep. So sad.
